Weekend in Charleston

*Just got word that my Dad's PICC line came out today. YAY for no more antibiotics every 8 hours!*

We obviously had a great weekend spent in Charleston. It is such a beautiful city!

We met Lara and Steve at Robert Lange's for the end of the Art Walk. He showed Nathan Durfee's latest pieces, which were incredible. After the show, we went with the group to dinner at Social.
The next morning, we drove to Sullivan's for a stroll on the beach. It was such a perfect day!

We then wandered back to Home Team for a painkiller (frozen screwdriver) and some grub.
Their BLT was killer
As were their dry-rub wings
It was fun getting to spend so much time with these two. They just got back from a 2 week trip gallivanting around Europe
Steve had to go into work (he's at Wild Olive), so the 3 of us went to Westbrook, one of Charleston's new breweries. We got there right in time for a tour. They have a very impressive facility!
And lots of empty IPA cans ready to be filled up
The owners LOVE Boston Terriers, so I swooned a bit over the stencil spray-paint art
It was Oktoberfest time, so the decorations were perfect!
We each did a flight, and all loved the Citrus Ninja (Double IPA) the best.
Our goods!
We headed back to get ready, and made it just in time for Holly & Wilson's wedding at the Legare Waring House at Charlestowne Landing.

Their ceremony was under the row of enormous oak trees + Spanish moss. It was breathtaking!
There was a cocktail hour immediately following the ceremony. The weather was perfect so we enjoyed the whole evening outside!

I loved the cafe lights and the champagne/tan linens. I especially loved the sequin chevron linens!
The bagpiper played a gorgeous song from the end of the ceremony to the beginning of cocktails
As both are lawyers, I thought the Scales of Justice was a perfect touch!
The sunset was absolutely gorgeous. Pink and dreamy!
There was a gorgeous lake right at the back of the house. We didn't get too close, and luckily there weren't any uninvited guests!!
They used the first floor of the house to hold the cake and the guestbook. They decorated it with old pictures of them. It was so perfectly decorated!
Aren't the florals to die for? Pastel and soft. They also had adorable koozies!
They also had adorable custom pillows
We danced all night long and then they left to a sea of bubbles! It was such a fun wedding. Many congrats to Holly + Wilson!

Hope your weekend was fabulous. Happy Monday!
